China has just unveiled its first-ever stealth fighter jet performing a 60-second acrobatic flyby maneuver at the Zhuhai air show on Tuesday in the province of Guangdong China, known as Airshow China. Where aircraft manufacturer and buyers held its biggest exhibitions to present newly developed aircraft and defense weaponry.
Chinese air force spokesman Sr. Col. Shen Jinke said last week that “the Chengdu J-20 is China’s own new generation stealth fighter, developed to meet the needs of the future battleground.”
Shen said, “the research and development are progressing as planned as it will further enhance the overall combat capability of the Air Force, which would help the army’s sacred mission of maintaining the national sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.”
The Chengdu Aircraft Industries Group, the company that develops the J-20 stealth fighter jet explains that the development of its stealth aircraft will definitely close the technology gap with all other rivals.
The Chengdu J-20 fighter is the China’s answer to the US F-22 Raptor stealth fighter and the F-35 Allied Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) that will be soon deployed in the Pacific by the United States and Japan. - JCE.
