The Philippine Air Force took part in the commemoration of the 119th Anniversary of Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P Rizal at the Rizal National Monument, Rizal Park, Luneta, Manila today, December 30, 2015, with His Excellency, President Benigno S Aquino III as the guest of honor.
Right after the flag raising and wreath laying ceremony, thirty-five air assets from PAF and 3 from the Philippine Navy performed a flyby over the Rizal Monument with the PAF’s 2 new FA-50PH fighter jets doing a high-speed pass and 2 new B-412 CUH helicopter, a traditional flower drop.

The historical event was witnessed by other VIP’s such as; the Secretary of National Defense (SND) Voltaire T Gazmin, Chief of Staff, GENERAL HERNANDO DCA IRIBERRI AFP, Commanding General, PAF LT GEN JEFFREY F DELGADO AFP and many more.
The PAF air assets which took part in the aerial show were 2 FA-50PH, 10 T-41 primary trainer aircraft, 15 SF-260FH basic trainer aircraft, 3 Bell-412 Combat Utility Helicopters and 5 AW-109E. 3 AW-109 of the Philippine Navy also joined the flyby. -Philippine Air Force
