Steve Harvey, a television personality and comedian announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez had won over Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach to happy commendation at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
After being presented with her crown, a timid Harvey needed to immediately inform the audience and Miss Colombia that he had read the wrong name on the card.
“I have to apologize,” Harvey said to a stunned crowd.

“There’s been a mistake. The first runner-up is Colombia. Miss Universe 2015 is the Philippines!” Harvey said.
Harvey said the “horrible mistake was entirely his after he read the card in his hand incorrectly.
“I will take responsibilities for this, it was still a great night,” he said.
“Please don’t hold it against the ladies,” Harvey added.
